Sr Engineering Manager

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead multiple engineering teams responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software that drives Lansweeper’s IT asset management platform. You’ll work closely with Product, Architecture, and Operations leaders to set technical direction, foster innovation, and ensure our teams deliver features that delight our customers and support the company’s growth. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Grow and manage people so teams stay healthy, aligned and increasingly autonomous. 

• Support career development by providing continuous feedback, coaching, and development opportunities. 

• Provide strong technical judgment to guide architecture, quality, and team decisions. 

• Translate business goals into clear technical objectives, roadmaps, and team priorities. 

• Partner with Product Management and Architecture to define and execute product and platform strategies. 

• Drive best practices in software engineering — including system design, quality, automation, and scalability. 

• Monitor progress against goals, manage risks, and ensure predictable and on-time delivery. 

• Drive execution with clear plans, predictable delivery, and proactive risk management 

• Promote diversity, psychological safety, and inclusion within the engineering organization. 

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and tools. 

Qualifications 

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including 3+ years in engineering management or technical leadership roles. 

• Proven success leading multiple teams in an agile, product-driven environment. 

• Experience with modern software architectures, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices. 

• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. 

• Demonstrated ability to align engineering efforts with strategic business goals. 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

• Uses AI-powered coding tools as part of daily workflow 

• Strong expertise in Golang and Node.js 

Nice to Have 

• Experience in SaaS or enterprise software environments. 

• Track record of scaling engineering organizations in a fast-growing company. 

• Experience with Rust
