As a Senior Software Engineer at Lansweeper, you will play a key role in designing and developing innovative solutions that enhance our IT asset management platform. You’ll work within a collaborative, cross-functional team to build scalable, secure, and high-performing features that deliver value to our global customer base. Your contributions will help drive Lansweeper’s mission to provide actionable insights through powerful asset discovery and data intelligence. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, adaptable, and excited about working on impactful technology in a fast-paced environment.

I have a  

  • Computer science degree or higher and/or +5 years of relevant experience 

  • Proven track record of systems programming in C, C++, or Rust   

  • Proven track record of backend software development 

  • Experience with SQL  

  • Knowledge of networks and the underlying hardware infrastructure 

  • Strong grasp of the English language 

 

Going for gold?  

  • Extensive experience with Rust 

  • Experience in web services and/or API development 

  • Familiar with Parquet, ClickHouse, DuckDB 

  • Experience with database design 

  • Knowledge about Google protocol buffers, gRPC, AVRO, JSON 

  • Familiar with Kubernetes, Terraform, Kafka, AWS, GCP, Azure 

  • Experience with some of the tools we use (GitHub, CircleCI, Jira, Confluence)  

  • Knowledge of MLOps practices and/or LLM architectures  

 

This role may include participation in our on-call duty system, which means being available outside regular hours to respond to urgent technical incidents. On-call weeks are planned in advance, and we offer a base allowance plus potential overtime compensation. You would need to respond within 30 minutes and be reachable by laptop, phone, or email when on call.
