A day in the life of a Senior Automation Engineer

You design, implement, and maintain automated test suites to ensure the quality of APIs and microservices.

You collaborate with developers, SREs, and product owners to define quality gates and improve test coverage.

You build and run performance and load tests to validate system scalability under real-world conditions.

You monitor and analyze latency and reliability metrics, identifying potential bottlenecks before they impact users.

You contribute to the test strategy and architecture, helping define how quality is built into every stage of development.

You review code, provide feedback, and guide the team in adopting best testing and automation practices.

You grow your career by exploring the latest in automation, observability, and cloud technologies.

Are you the new Senior Automation Engineer at Lansweeper?

I am someone who

• takes ownership of test automation across different teams and services.

• is an expert with API automated testing.

• can create and maintain performance and load testing pipelines.

• has experience and knowledge as SRE, monitoring latency, throughput and reliability metrics.

• can improve system resilience and push for best practices in CI/CD automation.

I have a

• computer engineering degree or higher and/or +4 years of relevant experience as a Software Test Engineer and Automation Engineer.

• proven track record of API and Performance testing and automation.

• strong grasp of the English language.

• profound knowledge of testing tools like k6, Jmeter or Gatling, React, Python.

• experience working in Cloud environments (AWS) with distributed testing and a microservice architecture.

Going for gold?
