Job description
1. Context:
Are you the new Senior AI Productivity Engineer at Lansweeper?
This is a new and strategic role where you’ll shape the future of developer productivity at Lansweeper. By designing and deploying AI‑powered tooling, you’ll directly improve software development velocity, quality and collaboration across our global engineering teams.
2. Key Responsibilities:
Design, build and maintain AI‑powered developer tools (e.g. coding assistants, smart code reviewers, intelligent scaffolding).
Operationalize agentic AI systems with strong focus on orchestration and feedback loops.
Integrate AI capabilities using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and other emerging standards.
Run data‑driven experiments (A/B testing, rollout frameworks) to validate productivity gains.
Collaborate with engineering leadership, DevOps, and security to ensure scalable and responsible AI in workflows.
Implement productivity metrics frameworks (e.g. SPACE, DORA) to track impact.
Educate and onboard internal teams on new AI tools and practices.
3. Key Requirements:
Hard skills:
+5 years in software engineering, platform engineering, or productivity tooling
Proven experience with LLM‑based developer tools (code generation, review, planning)
Deep knowledge of agentic AI patterns and orchestration frameworks
Hands‑on with MCP and multi‑agent development environments
Experience in Python, TypeScript, Go, or Rust + infrastructure‑as‑code
Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, monorepos, telemetry & IDE plugins
Soft skills:
Critical Thinking & Problem Solving – tackling complex workflows
Result Focus – measuring and driving meaningful productivity impact
Collaboration & Storytelling – enabling and educating teams effectively
Going for gold (nice‑to‑haves):
Open‑source contributions to AI developer productivity tools
Background in HCI, developer experience, or behavioral data analytics
