Global IT Leader – AI, Security & Infrastructure

We are looking for a hands-on Global IT leader to take ownership of Lansweeper’s global internal IT organisation and ensure we can scale and transform our organisation further through AI. 

The Opportunity 
Lansweeper is a 400-person asset intelligence company trusted by 14,000+ organisations worldwide. We’re scaling fast, embedding AI across the business, and raising the bar on security. Our IT function needs to evolve from keeping things running to becoming a strategic advantage. 

As IT Manager, you’ll own that transformation. You’ll lead a global team of 8, report directly to the COO, and have a seat at the leadership table with real mandate and budget authority. This isn’t a maintenance role—it’s a builder’s role. 

What Success Looks Like in 12–18 Months 
•      A unified, scalable IT operation that has eliminated legacy fragmentation across regions and consolidated tooling around a modern, well-governed stack. 
•      AI adoption that’s real, not theoretical employees across the company using AI tools daily within a clear governance framework you designed. 
•      A security posture that satisfies ISO/SOC 2 auditors while keeping the environment workable for 400+ people who need to move fast. 
•      A LAB environment that’s a competitive asset—enabling rapid product testing, DevOps integration, and operational automation. 

The Real Challenges 
•      You’ll inherit a hybrid environment (on-prem + cloud) that has grown organically across multiple regions. 
•      AI is moving fast inside the company—ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, Azure-hosted GPT, custom integrations. You need to enable adoption while controlling cost, risk, and data exposure. 
•      Tool sprawl is significant. You’ll need to make hard calls on consolidation while keeping teams productive during transitions. 

What You’ll own: 

Strategic 
•      Global IT strategy and roadmap—security, AI, infrastructure, and scalability—with full ownership from design through execution. 
•      AI enablement and governance across the company, defining how Lansweeper adopts AI safely and at scale. 
•      IT budget, vendor management, and contract negotiations (Microsoft, Palo Alto, SOC partner, SaaS vendors). 

 
Operational 
•      A global IT team of 8 spanning Service Desk, Network Architecture, and Systems & Integrations. Support Due Diligence & PMI processes. 
•      Operational excellence across Identity, Endpoint, Infrastructure, Networking, Security, and ITSM. 
•      The Lansweeper LAB environment—VM provisioning, asset lifecycle, DevOps integration, and automation. 
•      Lansweeper’s own internal deployment, acting as primary beta tester and feeding product insights directly to the Product team. 
•      Security governance—protecting the organisation against external threats while maintaining a workable environment in an ISO/SOC 2 context. 

What We’re Looking For 

Experience & Technical Depth 
•      Proven track record as IT Manager, Head of IT, or equivalent in an international, multi-site environment. 
•      Deep expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem—Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Sentinel, M365. 
•      Hands-on experience with network and security architecture (Palo Alto, Prisma Access, SIEM/SOC). 
•      Strong knowledge of hybrid infrastructure—on-prem, cloud, HyperV, Azure. 
•      Experience driving enterprise AI adoption, enablement, or governance (not just using AI tools—shaping how an organisation uses them). 

Leadership Profile 
•      Strategic thinker who executes—you build roadmaps and you ship them. 
•      Strong stakeholder manager who aligns IT with business growth, not the other way around. 
•      Pragmatic leader who balances governance with speed—you know when to enforce and when to flex.

You’ll lead the Global IT Team of 8 FTE based across Belgium, Spain, and the US, working closely with every department in the company.
