Context We’ve experienced significant growth in recent years. Despite having a robust HR team, we're seeking more skilled professionals in HR and office management.

Impact You will be essential for office management, working closely with Kelly, our People & Workplace Coordinator, and Liesbet, our People & Culture Lead. Your role includes managing payroll, HR projects, fleet management, and addressing employee inquiries. Most importantly, you'll create an outstanding work experience.

The Role Join Lansweeper as an HR Officer in our Belgium and UK offices. Enhance employee experiences and manage the employee lifecycle. This in-office role is based in Merelbeke, Belgium.

Responsibilities: Payroll & Employee Benefits

  • Handle payroll accurately, including wages, commissions, and bonuses.

  • Manage HR and employee benefits programs for Belgium and the UK.

  • Oversee fleet management and handle car park inquiries.

  • Streamline onboarding and offboarding processes.

  • Maintain data entry in HRIS and benefits portals.

  • Contribute to HR projects for continuous improvement.

Workplace Experience

  • Be a culture ambassador with a focus on office management.

  • Oversee facilities, security, maintenance, and office supplies.

  • Collaborate with the event committee for company events.

  • Manage daily operations, correspondence, and support travel.

  • Handle HR and office expenses globally.

  • Seek enhancements to office functionality and employee experience.

Focus: Payroll (65%), Workplace Experience (35%)

  • Basic knowledge of Belgian social legislation, payroll tools, and fleet management.

  • An in-office working understanding.

  • A global perspective with cross-cultural competency.

  • Strong administrative and communication skills.

  • A Master’s degree in HR and passion for people.
