Key responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Business Development 

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new MSP clients, through research, networking, social media, and cold outreach. 

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify growth opportunities within the MSP sector. 

  • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the unique needs of MSPs. 

Account Management 

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with MSP clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty. 

  • Act as the main commercial point of contact for MSP accounts, addressing inquiries and providing solutions promptly. 

  • Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing MSP client base. 

Solution Selling 

  • Conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand MSPs’ business models, challenges, and technical requirements. 

  • Present and demonstrate Lansweeper solutions effectively, showcasing how they align with MSP needs and can be integrated in a service offering and increase revenue. 

  • Recommend the appropriate licensing models for MSPs, negotiate contracts and close deals that deliver mutual value. 

Collaboration & Reporting 

  • Work closely with the Service Delivery Engineer to ensure seamless onboarding and adoption for MSP clients. 

  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and client feedback to the leadership team. 

Market Awareness 

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and MSP market dynamics. 

  • Position Lansweeper as the go-to solution for MSPs by communicating value propositions effectively. 

Job requirements

You have 

  • A proven track record of 5+ years in B2B sales, preferably in the IT or MSP space. 

  • A proven ability to drive commercial growth through strategic engagement and opportunity development.  

  • A solid understanding of IT environments, networks, and protocols. 

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate business value to diverse audiences. 

  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple clients and priorities. 

Going for gold? 

  • Experience working for an MSP in either sales or service delivery roles. 

  • Experience working for a global company. 

  • Proficiency in IT networks and protocols. 

  • Salesforce experience. 

  • Resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a results-driven approach 

  • Self-starter who can design their own path to success with little oversight. 

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
