Job description
Technical Success Manager
Context & Impact
Lansweeper is expanding its post-sales motion and investing in the people who make customers successful for the long term. This Technical Success Manager role exists to own the technical dimension of customer success — ensuring that customers not only adopt the Lansweeper platform but derive continuous, measurable value from it across their IT, OT, cloud, and IoT environments.
As a Technical Success Manager, you will serve as the strategic technical partner for a portfolio of enterprise and mid-market accounts, working at the intersection of product expertise, customer outcomes, and business impact. Your work directly influences retention, expansion, and Lansweeper's reputation as a platform customers trust.
In the near term, you will focus on onboarding customers effectively, building scalable success frameworks, and partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Support to close the loop between customer feedback and platform evolution.
The Challenge
The main challenges you'll face are:
Driving deep technical adoption in complex, heterogeneous IT environments where customers have varying levels of maturity and readiness — translating Lansweeper's capabilities into tangible outcomes takes both technical depth and strategic patience.
Scaling your impact across a portfolio — balancing high-touch engagement for strategic accounts while maintaining consistent coverage across a broader book of business, without sacrificing quality.
Influencing without authority — partnering with Sales, Support, and Product teams to advocate for customers and drive internal action, in an organization that moves fast and values data-backed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Own the post-sales technical relationship for a portfolio of accounts, serving as the primary technical point of contact and trusted advisor from onboarding through renewal and expansion.
Lead structured onboarding and implementation engagements, ensuring customers achieve time-to-value quickly and deploy Lansweeper effectively across their environment.
Conduct regular technical health checks, business reviews, and adoption assessments to proactively identify risk, surface expansion opportunities, and align platform usage to customer objectives.
Develop and deliver technical success plans, training sessions, and enablement materials tailored to each customer's environment, use cases, and team maturity.
Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Support Engineers, and Product Managers to escalate customer issues, relay product feedback, and contribute to roadmap discussions grounded in real customer use cases.
Leverage platform data, usage analytics, and AI-powered tooling to monitor customer health signals and drive proactive, insight-led engagement across your portfolio.
Key Requirements
Hard Skills
3+ years of experience in a Technical Success Manager, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Account Manager role within a B2B SaaS or software company — with a demonstrated track record of owning technical customer relationships at scale.
Strong hands-on technical foundation in IT infrastructure, networking, or cybersecurity — including familiarity with asset management, endpoint visibility, CMDB, or IT operations tooling.
Experience with enterprise environments spanning on-premises, cloud, OT, and IoT — able to navigate complexity and advise customers on deployment architecture and integration best practices.
Proficiency with customer success platforms and CRM tooling (e.g., Gainsight, Salesforce, or equivalent) — able to manage portfolio health, track activities, and report on outcomes with discipline.
Data fluency — comfortable working with usage data, health metrics, and dashboards to identify trends, build business cases, and present findings to technical and executive stakeholders alike.
Soft Skills
Customer obsession — you build trust quickly, listen actively, and consistently put the customer's outcome at the center of every engagement.
Structured communication — you translate complex technical concepts clearly for both technical teams and business decision-makers, adapting your approach to the audience.
Proactive ownership — you don't wait to be asked; you identify risk early, bring solutions, and follow through with urgency and accountability.
AI-Specific Skills
Lansweeper is an AI-native company. In this role, AI fluency is both a strategic and operational expectation — not a nice-to-have.
You will be expected to leverage AI tools embedded in the customer success workflow to monitor portfolio health at scale, identify adoption risk signals, and generate proactive outreach informed by data. Strategically, you will help customers understand how Lansweeper's AI-powered intelligence capabilities apply to their environments — and you will use AI to accelerate the quality and personalization of customer engagement across your book of business.
This means you should be comfortable working with AI-assisted platforms, prompting effectively, interpreting AI-generated insights critically, and knowing when to apply human judgment over automated outputs.

You'll join the Customer Success organization, working closely with Account Executives, Support Engineers, Solutions Engineers, and Product Managers. The team is US-based, operating in a hybrid working model (3 days onsite).
