This role will be the primary account manager for one of our largest and most significant global clients, with the prospect of overseeing a portfolio of key strategic partners eventually. Responsible for growing and sustaining business within this account. Coordinates interactions with the client, to ensure consistent high-quality service across the board and to resolve any issues or conflicts. Be an ambassador supporting our strategic partnerships with a client focused approach. Will play a pivotal role in fostering collaboration between our strategic partner and the different cross-functional Lansweeper teams involved in the partnership (i.e. engineering, product management, product marketing, support, senior management, etc.

A day in the life of:

  • Collaboratively develop and implement growth strategies in conjunction with the Head of the Strategic Partnership Team.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Support the formulation of account management and broader strategies.
  • Lead and coordinate Lansweeper colleagues across various teams to foster effective collaboration with our partner to drive growth.
  • Monitor, take charge of performance improvement plans, and handle customer escalations.
  • Identify the account needs and requirements; prioritize projects; coordinate the development of new products or new processes.
  • Ensure all client communication is documented and prioritized utilising our CRM.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Track sales progress and pipeline against mutually agreed KPIs with the partner.
  • Drive cross-functional workstreams to deliver Customer outcomes.
  • Ensure that high quality preparation is done prior to customer meetings and that customer meetings are appropriately structured and run, to maximise business opportunity.
  • Lead a virtual matrix team from Legal to Sales, Product Management, Support and Engineering to ensure the team is engaged and aware of the Customers’ priorities.
  • Ensure partner success while nurturing a culture of accountability.

Job requirements

Are you the new Account Manager at Lansweeper?
I am someone who has:

  • Minimum of five to ten years' experience in managing key accounts within Strategic Partnerships, preferably within software/SaaS vendors.
  • Well-versed in thriving within fast-paced SaaS environments.
  • Preferred knowledge and experience in the ITAM space. 
  • A strong time management, ability to deliver within challenging timescales and effectively prioritise, plan and organise, by using independent judgment and work autonomously on multiple initiatives, balancing immediate and longer-term business priorities.
  • Proficiency in reporting and has exceptional presentation and written skills tailored for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, motivating partners to promote our solutions with an engaging and influential communication style, dealing with stakeholder at all levels of the organization.
  • A strong creative and collaborative approach, both internally and externally, to complex problem-solving with a results-oriented approach.
  • An inherent drive to cultivate and expand partner business opportunities.
  • An extensive business experience gained in leadership and individual contributor roles.
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Location in UK (London) or Belgium (Gent area)
