At Lansweeper, we believe that great user documentation is core to a great product experience. As a Contract Technical Writer on the Product Operations team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how our users interact with, understand, and succeed with our platform.
Key Responsibilities
Craft exceptional user-centric documentation
Create high-quality, easy-to-understand user documentation tailored for diverse audiences
Maintain a strong voice of the user across all documentation efforts
Simplify complexity
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise guidance
Collaborate with SMEs to fully understand features, functionality, and workflows
Ask the right questions to get to the why, not just the how
Drive continuous content improvement
Proactively analyze user journeys and insights to identify content gaps
Bring modern thinking to content optimization, including AI-readiness and content reuse
Collaborate and iterate
Work closely with Product Management, UX, Engineering, and various field teams
Comfortably navigate asynchronous work and feedback loops
Job requirements

Excellent written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
Proven ability to simplify complex technical information into actionable content
Prior experience documenting networking solutions or network adjacent solutions
Strong hands-on mindset—you’re not afraid to click around in the product, test workflows, or troubleshoot to validate your understanding
Collaborative, curious, and proactive in engaging with technical teams
Deep empathy for users—you care about their goals, challenges, and success
3+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in a SaaS environment
