With a funding round from Insight Partners and an impressive yearly revenue growth, Lansweeper is rapidly expanding its Global teams. We now need a Sr. Manager of Marketing Operations to help with our growth journey!

Position Summary

The Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations will report to the VP of Marketing and will be the strategic linchpin for the marketing team, providing expertise in our tech stack, overseeing data management, defining marketing KPIs, and ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing initiatives. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, marketing acumen, and project management skills to support and optimize our marketing operations.

A day in the life:

  • Strategy: In collaboration with the VP of Marketing, define and execute the overarching strategy for Marketing Operations to drive business success.
  • Tech Stack SME: Serve as the subject matter expert for all marketing technology stacks, providing expert guidance on usage, adoption, and optimization to enhance marketing performance.
  • Website: Responsible for overseeing website operations, ensuring optimal performance, user experience, and alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Marketing Tool Implementation: Define business requirements for the implementation and enhancements of marketing tools to ensure they meet our strategic needs.
  • Training: Conduct training sessions for the Marketing team on software updates and new tools to ensure proficiency and maximize utility.
  • Data Management: Oversee data management practices, including defining requirements for lead sources, tracking methodologies, and UTMs to ensure data integrity and usefulness
  • Dashboards and Reporting: Create and manage dashboards and reports in Salesforce, Google Analytics, and data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau or PowerBI) to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Marketing KPIs: Define, monitor, and report on marketing KPIs to assess performance and inform strategic adjustments.
  • Process and Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for marketing strategies, initiatives, and processes. Manage projects to ensure timely and successful execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Campaign Analysis and Reporting: Conduct in-depth analysis and reporting on marketing initiatives and campaigns to evaluate performance against goals and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration with Revenue Operations: Work closely with the Revenue Operations team to align initiatives and training, ensuring cohesive efforts across departments.
  • Pardot Configuration: Work with RevOps team to provide guidance and expertise on configuring Pardot to support marketing automation and personalization efforts.

Job requirements

Are you the new Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations at Lansweeper?

I am someone who has:

  • Demonstrated expertise in marketing operations, with a strong preference for candidates who have a rich professional background in the field. While a bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, we highly value practical experience and accomplishments in the B2B software/SaaS space.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing operations in a B2B software or SaaS (Software as a Service) environment.
  • Direct involvement in executing marketing initiatives, with a particular focus on the operational aspects of Pardot email campaigns and related marketing functions. This role entails providing essential support to the marketing team, facilitating efficient processes and driving successful outcomes.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Pardot, WordPress, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and other marketing tools.
  • Strong understanding of data management practices, including segmentation, UTMs, analysis, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing marketing technology stacks and implementing marketing tools.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in campaign analysis and KPI monitoring.
  • Exceptional communication and training skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Proactive, collaborative team player with a strategic mindset and focus on results.
  • Must be highly motivated and consistently eager to exceed expectations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams in Europe, demonstrating flexibility with respect to various time zones.
  • Enthusiasm for occasional international travel, including visits to our Belgium office and other global destinations.
