Responsibilities

  • Manage, motivate, and coach a pre-sales technical team of 3 to 5 individuals
  • Act as the subject matter expert in our solution and the IT landscape of our customers
  • Evangelize Lansweeper and engage with our community and user base
  • Provide potential customers and partners with in-depth technical overviews of Lansweeper’s solution including demo’s, discovery calls and PoC’s
  • Advise on anything from the initial rollout and configuration to security compliance and custom developments
  • Assist the sales team to identify customer needs and challenges and propose ways to solve them
  • Create re-usable collateral to scale your expertise across the team
  • Share ideas about improving our product and processes as well as customer engagement information
  • Align with other departments like Product and Marketing for roadmap coverage in advance of rollout
  • Create success metrics and manage team to them
  • Advise on headcount and staffing to support Lansweeper’s growth ambitions
  • Other duties as assigned

Job requirements

Are you the new Pre-Sales Solution Engineering Manager at Lansweeper?

Qualifications

  • Seven years’ experience in a similar pre-sales role in SaaS or related software
  • Five years’ experience in ITAM, SAM, ITSM, or cyber security. You must have deep experience to be the Subject Matter Expert.
  • Deeply familiar with networking, LAN, WAN, and complex network layouts
  • Tremendous Communication Skills. It’s not enough to just talk tech. We need you to effectively interact with our customers daily.
  • Be Inquisitive and have a Commercial Mindset. Conducting demo’s helps show how helpful our solution is, but we need your IT experience to question and dig deep into customer’s needs.
  • Comfortable speaking to all levels of an organization and to both technical and business benefits.
  • Always Support the Sales Team. When the sales team is successful, so is Lansweeper. Your primary job is to remove technical barriers and to make sure the sales team is focused on helping our customers.
  • Have Experience in the Enterprise and Mid-Market spaces. Our user base is varied and growing. We need someone who can speak fluently to both large enterprises and small.
