Job description

Lansweeper delivers a complete overview of our customer's technology estates. That's a lot of information, many ways to get it, and even more ways to use it.

Our 200,000 users today are predominantly technical people that can deal with and, in some cases, even want a degree of complexity. But our goal is to deliver value for use-cases well beyond what we’ve focussed on in the past. That also means different users with different backgrounds and expectations.

We believe proper UX at this scale has to be driven by data. Your mission is to take the subjectivity out of UX by surfacing, enabling, and closing decisions with bottom-up data.

A day in the life of

  • Define metrics to keep track of user behavior within our products and ensure their correct implementation.
  • Monitor the traffic funnels that make up our users' journey through our various channels (consoles, web, email, etc.) to find opportunities to improve user experience.
  • Set hypotheses on uncovered issues and their possible solutions, as well as needed experiments to validate/refute these assumptions.
  • Nurture, manage and prioritize an improvement backlog in liaison with Product and Marketing colleagues, suggesting experiments with which to improve user experience incrementally.
  • Evaluate and co-create with UX designers potential solutions addressing identified issues.
  • Follow-up on proposed improvements, monitoring metrics over time to determine whether those improvements achieve the expected outcome.
