With a recent funding round from Insight Partners and impressive yearly revenue growth, Lansweeper is rapidly expanding our Global team. We are looking for a Business Systems IT Architect in the Austin, TX office. The Business Systems IT Architect will focus on IT architecture principles and guidelines for our administrator and development teams,

What a day will look like for you:

  •  You understand the AS IS it architecture of the enterprise and develop different trajectories to move to the TO BE architecture. Our business strategy provides guidance for the TO BE models. The first focus domains will be the lead to opportunity and quote to cash processes
  • You identify trade-offs between different technical scenarios to support leadership decision making
  • You help to describe IT architecture principles and guidelines for the administrator and development teams, and you guide teams to apply them
  • You design & document the IT architecture where needed to enable technical teams to develop scalable systems
  • You structure the technical aspects of existing applications like Salesforce, Workato and our new Finance ERP, partner portal, and more
  • You lead the definition of interfaces and data models to allow for a resilient integration between our different systems, through Workato
  • You explore new technical solutions relevant for our business processes, and clarify the value
  • You help automating IT delivery and integration towards CI & CD
  • You contribute when needed to agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, story refinement, sprint planning, internal/external stakeholder demos, and retrospectives
  • You report to the Director of Business Systems, who will coach you on a regular basis


Job requirements

Are you the new IT Architect at Lansweeper?

I am someone who

  • Likes to structure IT SaaS implementations, with systems such Salesforce and Workato
  • Develops a good understanding of the functionality of applications and can also evaluate non-functional IT requirements (availability, observability, security, etc.)
  • Can review the configuration & coding of tools when needed for architecture analysis
  • Sees IT architecture as a healthy combination of planning and doing
  • Likes to work across different projects and with different suppliers

I have

  • At least 2 years of experience in Salesforce implementations in a technical role
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT development/integration
  • Experience as technical lead on multiple projects
  • A good understanding of Salesforce and SaaS architectures

Going for gold

  • Salesforce configuration and development
  • Experience with CPQ and Salescloud
  • Knowledge of SaaS integrations, for example with Workato, Boomi or Mulesoft
  • Experience with SaaS Finance ERP (like Netsuite,, Chargebee)
  • Knowledge of APEX, LWC, Flows, SOQL
